This web site is about the Dingle berry Church. Initially this site was designed to be an insult the the churches of the world.
I feel that this has to change and have decided to change this site to tell more about the real truth about what the church is all about and what it means to you.
I have no desire to defend that Gospel in the Bible, as I feel that God's word doesn't need my defense. If you do find the church repugnant, then you need to find out about the person, God. You see, many people in our world become disillusioned by the church because of it's people.
You really have to remember that people are flawed. No matter what religion, we are all still prone to make mistakes and going to church doesn't exempt anyone from making bone headed moves. But you need to look beyond that.
Let's say someone from Mars came down to earth and decided to start executing people on earth. It wouldn't take long before anyone would trust martians, because of this one martian. But let's say a million martians came to earth and only one did this terrible thing.
Because we know that martians as a whole are a pretty good sort, we would also know that this one martian is personally in the wrong - not the whole martian population.
Now that's kind of a silly story, but it does illustrate how many people treat the church. One person does something very un church like and now all church people are slotted in this minority. Unfortunately, like the martian story, the only story that would be dramatized on the news would be the one and many people would base their view on the one not the many.
This is the same thing that happens with the church. The church as a whole does make a lot of really stupid mistakes. Hey they are human. But what is important is that the God that they worship is never changing and won't make boneheaded moves.
He is the one you need to get to know before you head off and make quick judgement calls.
